first remove the drive shaft. Your gonna need a jack to hold the transmission up. so with the car jacked up, remove the crossmember, its a big metal bracket that goes to the left and right side of the car. it bolts to the end of the tranny. once u remove that, the jack should be holding the transmission up. lower the jack a little and u will see the 6 bolts that hold the transmission and engine together. They should be 9/16 inch bolts. after removing those bolts, u have to remove the 3 bolts that hold the flywheel and torque converter together. after removing each bolt, ur gonna have to turn the flywheel by hand to reach the next bolt. The best thing to use is a big screw driver. after the 3 bolts are out, ur gonna hve to lower the tranny a little, and wiggle it out. be careful not to drop the transmission.
