Depends which motor. 3.4L is very easy right on top. Just take serptien belt off with the belt tool and disconnect the battery. Remove all bolts holding the alt. Most the time just 2 or 3. unplug wiring plug and remove power wire with a socket wrench. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BELT DIAGRAM before taking the belt off. Not to sure about the four cyclinders because i have never seen one.
