The '95 to '99 Doge and Plymouth Neon's have a radiator support that is held in by spot welds. You can purchase a spot weld removal kit at your local auto body shop, but it is a process. If you have some time on your hands and the tools to weld it back together you'll save alot of money. If you don't have the tools, or the know how, it's better just to pay a shop to do it.

∙ 9y agoYou will need to remove the radiator. The radiator support is held in place by four retaining bolts. There are two retaining bolts on each end of the support. Remove the retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new radiator support.

hey i just had to do this. my advice is to CHECK it before u take it off, and if u have the money it is DEFINATELY worth takin to a repair shop. disconnect negative battery connection. remove the serp belt from crank/idler/alternator side (driver side) . remove mud covers from underside to axcess radiator support. remove 4 bolts for radiator support. support radiator and trans cooler with a jack stand. push radiator foreward and remove alternator. replace in reverse order. hopefully the alternator is actually bad
