Either cut it out on the pipe with copper cutters or sweat it out with a Plumbing torch.
It depends on the size of PVC. For smaller PVC you can buy fittings that glue onto the PVC and allow a thread x barb fitting to be installed. For larger pipe you should get a brass compression fitting that clamps down on the PVC and adapts to a thread x barb fitting.
threaded pipe use an extractor
try 2 pipe wrenches or cut the pipe and remove remaining with a nipple extractor avail about any plumbing supply or home center
what are some pipe fitting abb
Two pipe wrenches. One to hold the galvanized from turning and one to turn the brass fitting. Pull on one and push on the other and it should come out.
The fitting allowance is the difference: (pipe end to fitting center measurement) minus (pipe end to end measurement). It is the amount of length the fitting adds to the end of the pipe (to get the center of the turn).
you will have to explain a little more are you describing a fitting with a clip or just a clamped rubber line on a barb fitting? if a clamped fitting take pliers and grab on fitting enough to turn hose back and forth it will usually pop free. if with a clip fitting you have to take the lock clip out from behind the flange and it should release if not you may have to cut the fitting out and replace it if it is a metal line there should be two fittings you put two wrenches on and turn in opposite directions again if the are too tight you may have to pipe cut the line and splice with a rubber piece of fuel line
measure the length of the fitting first. Then insert pipe into fitting and mark a line on pipe. measure that bit of pipe. deduct off the length of fitting and half it to give you your x dimension
Your question is vague. - Usually plumbing pipe fitting is between studs in the walls. To fit new pipes, find studs with a 'studfinder' then cut down the centre of studs to remove drywall. Install pipe, then refit with new drywall on the 3/4 " of stud each side.
Adam Fitting goes by Pipe.
Use a pair of plyers and two small pieces of cork to grab the threaded pipe while you rotate the female fitting. Also, if you don't need the threaded piece anymore, you can use a whole cork inserted into the threaded pipe with a bit of apoxy or super glue.
You can't. There is no fitting to do this. Galvanized has to be threaded.
