It is a piece of molding normally running down the side of the vehicle that is painted the same color as the vehicle.
Pull the plastic molding out, should pop out.
peel off the molding than use DIF or foor wax remover to remove the glue. it does come off it just takes a while.
I assume by rear panel you mean the molding behind the rear seats. At least I hope so. Well here is how it goes, first you must remove the rear seat cushion, it just pops out, pull up and toward the front of the car. Next remove the back cushions, to do this fold them down, on the 40% split seat you will find a small square velcro piece, underneath are two 10mm(not 100% on that) bolts, remove these and pull the back cushion toward the opposite side of the car, this will remove the rod from the side molding. Then remove the 60% split back cushion from the side molding in the same manner, there are no bolts on this cushion. Then in the arm rests there should be an oval pop-out covering a screw, take this out on both sides. Next take the window panelling from each side above the rear panelling off, these pop right off. After removing those, remove the side molding in the same fashion. The rear molding will pop up the same way as the sides and window molding, some of the plastic pins holding the molding are easier to access from the trunk. Well hope this helps.
Yes, there are about 6 bolts on each side you have to remove, you do not have to remove the molding, just use the access panels, however you have to pull the center part out, (3000GT part) a bit to remove the tail light.
In the trunk, on the right hand side. Remove the trunk covering to expose the spare tire; then remove the panel on the right to get to the battery.
Ensure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position. Remove the upper garnish molding at the headliner. Remove the right and left side rear window garnish molding. Lower the rear of the headliner in order to access the electrical connector. Disconnect the electrical connector. Attach a short piece of wire to the high mounted stop lamp connector in order to assist the guiding of the harness through the body. Remove the high mounted stop lamp screws. Remove the high mounted stop lamp from the vehicle.

Driver's side floorboard. Kickplate has 1 screw in it. Remove kickplate and remove the 4 screws attached to the molding that runs down the side of the seat. Pull molding towards backseat and the whole panel will come right off. The relay is under the kickplate attached to a wire harness. Push in small lever on relay and remove. Then plug new one in. Simple. I did one today. First time to do that but I learned where it is and how to change it.
The cabin filter in the 2004 x type jaguar is in the same place as the 2003 s type jaguar. it is under the hood on the passenger side under the plastic cowling. you need to remove the 5 plastic clips and both wipers then pry it off starting from the passenger side
