How to remove calipers on 2005 Ford F-150
The calipers are threaded and screw out.
jack up the tire and then remove the bolts that is holding the calipers and then remove the hose and the calipers will come off. you will need to bleed the brakes when you replace everything back together.
first remove the calipers from the carrier then remove pads then calipers can not be pressed in you must use a tool to turn them in, then reinstall in reverse order
1. Take the tire off 2. Take the brake calipers off. (there are 2 bolts on the back side of the calipers) then you can remove the calipers and rotors.
Remove the wheels, take out the bolts holding the calipers on, depress the pistons in the calipers all of the way and then remove the calipers. Be sure to use the anti-squeek shims and grease in the new pads
