First you have to remove the trim around the shifter just pull up and it pops off. then you have to 6phillips screws from the bottom of the dash. Then open the center pocket at the top and pull out the little rubber piece inside. After that there are to little black pieces towards the front of the pocket (one on the left and right side) pop those out with a small pic and there are 2phillips screws behind there, then just pull the center trim out and unplug the top gauges plug. Radio comes out with center trim.

the plastic shield around the stereo pops off with some force. there are four screws, one in each corner of the stereo/cd player. BEFORE YOU UNSCREW THE SCREWS ON THE STEREO, check if your radio is type 1 or type 2. Type 1 is average sized. Type 2 is much larger. If you have type 2, you have to remove the center console. There are two screws in the side that can be accessed if you are sitting in the back seat and the two front seats are moved all the way up. Pop out the cup holder and ash tray. There are 2 screws under there. The final two are under the plastic around the radio. Remove the shifter knob (it screws off) and pull the console up. Look out for the wires to the cigarette lighter and the light for the ash tray. Once removed, you can pull the console out, unscrew the radio, unplug all the wires from behind it, and it just slides out.
