Use a little acetone (polish remover) in a well-ventilated area. One problem with this is that acetone (or other nail polish removers) can also dissolve a lot of plastics. If the tub is important to you, you might want to try it on an inconspicuous location first.

Two things come to mind. First a scouring powder such as comet or dutchboy work fairly well. Second, a good cleaner, for most things, happens to be a paste made from baking soda and water. It makes a good metal polish, or toothpaste in a pinch too. Baking powder won't scratch a surface like harsh cleaners might. I would not suggest using ammonia however, I tried that once and it damaged the surface of my… Read More
To my knowledge there are no legal restrictions against nail polish in public hot tubs. In a privately owned hot tub, it would be up to the feelings of the individual owner, however in a lifetime of hot tub use and ownership, I've never heard anyone refusing, or even having a problem with a nail polish wearer, assuming you mean dry nail polish as opposed to wet and freshly applied. On the other hand, it… Read More

Unfortunately this will be difficult at best. Both are plastics. Spray foam is very tenacious. It bonds really well to most things (including tubs). That said; I have been successful at removing overspray from many surfaces over the last 20+ years. Now, depending on the level of overspray, you might be satisfied with the results achieved using a 3-M Clay Block and their clear liquid spray polish. Use a soft rag and liquid polish to… Read More

finger nail polish remover or acetone should remove the sealant, but there is a chance they would damage the finish of the tub, depending on the material. If it is porcelain it should be fine, but if it is plastic don't use them. WD-40 will also probably work and is probably safer, so you could even try it first. Spray the sealant with WD-40, then let it sit until it is almost dry - probably… Read More
Apply Ajax to a damp cloth and rub the scratch gently. Ajax does not recommend this, as it may cause damage to your tub. However, I find it works very well and doesn't cause noticable damage. If it does damage the tub, it does it so slowly you'll be dead before you've ruined it.
