Please re-ask your question stating make model year and engine size.
There is no such thing as a Fly Wheel Belt, unless your refurring to the timing belt which is hooked to the crankshaft which the fly wheel bolts to... The Timing Belt is on the front of the engine.
no
First remove the three spark plugs, this will make spinning the engine easier. Next spin the fly wheel counter clockwise (in the direction of the arrow stamped on the fly wheel) until the cam shaft pulley timing mark matches up exactly with the notch on the engine block. You will have to look on top of the motor for the mark but it is stamped. Once the cam shaft is lined up remove the timing belt from the cam shaft pulley and turn the fly wheel counter clock wise until the timing notch stamped on the fly wheel are 2 teeth past the timing mark on the block (which is near the left most bolt on the engine hanging bracket). Slide the timing belt back over the cam shaft pulley, tighten the belt tensioner and spin the engine (counter clockwise) by hand a few revolution to make sure that the engine turns freely and valve stems are not hitting the cam shaft. If it turns freely with no issue put the plastic timing belt cover back on and try starting the motor up in water. Good luck!
on top of fly wheel
Remove the drive belt. Remove the electrical connection, remove the alternator. OR - IS IT HIDDEN BEHIND OTHER CONPONENTS? I had to change mine on a 1990 and it's the same for yours. You need to always remember to disconnect the neg on the battery first. You need to move the fly wheel just a tad so remove the belt and slide the wheel over then the rest is easy. Good luck.
The "timing shear pin" is in the shaft that holds the fly wheel. Hope this helps.
You have to remove the transmission to do this.
It is between the engine and the transmission. You have to remove the transmission to replace it.
stx 38 fly wheel
Maybe the belt tension is too tight. This very same thing happen to me on a 92 Jeep Cherokee. Is the belt the right belt ? Length , width and design Check your routing If you did not move any components ( fly wheel ???? ) then look at the belt. looks like you got to change the belt again anyway get a belt from a dealership
Injector timing on b6000 is adjusted by adding or subtracting shims under the injector pump. Timing should be set with fly wheel timing mark on cyclinder #1
You will either have to remove the transmission and fly-wheel to remove them or you can pull the engine out and then remove them.
