On a 95 you can get away with raising the engine and be able to remove the pan without having to remove the engine. Apparently on 87-93 years you have to also remove the upper intake manifold and throttle body, I guess it must be done to clear the engine compartment when you lift the engine enough to get the pan out. I think previous posters had a problem because they didn't realize that it was possible to gain clearance by removing the oil pump inlet tube. Enjoy, don't bust your knuckles and don't drink too much beer, at least until you're done!
The 1995 Ford F1 50 pickup truck oil pan is held in place by approximately 28 retaining bolts. Remove the retaining bolts and the oil pan should come off.
sorry to tell you this but, you have to pull the engine up about three inches to remove the oil pan.
oil pan for engine is on bottom of engine oil pan for transmission is on bottom of transmission
Remove motor mounts and raise motor approximately 4 inches.
You need to unscrew the screws and remove the lid to remove the oil pan on a 2001 Ford Mustang with 3.8 motor.

The engine has to be raised up a bunch to get the pan off.
