If that's the case, the handle slides over the crank shaft and a "C" shaped spring (actually, it looks just like the Ohm symbol Ω or capital greek letter omega) locks into a notch in the shaft through holes in the handle. What you need to do is remove this spring and then the handle will just pull right off. Something I've found to work is sliding a towel between the handle and the door. It will catch on the points of the spring "Ω" and pull it right off!

Outer- One bolt is behind door panel and the other is on the outside edge of the door right behind the handle. Simply remove bolts, remove handle and swap door lock into new handle and replace.
