The head bolt torque for a 1998 Suzuki Esteem with the 1.6L 16 valve engine is: 1st: 25 ft lbs 2nd: 40 ft lbs3rd: 48-51 ft lbs
This is the first time for me to work on a Suzuki and I can't seem to get the head off to replace the gasket or to see if the head is cracked is there a trick to removing the head on a 2001 Suzuki esteem 1.8 with dual overhead cam
This Is A sign Of A Blown Head Gasket or a cracked head, usually caused by severe overheating.
Remove the head light cover plate, then remove head light braket, once you have done that pull the light out and un-plug it.
You can remove the off a Suzuki 230 4 wheeler by locating the mounting bracket on the floor of the vehicle. Once you find that, you can remove the screws in the plate with a Phillips head screw driver, and take the seat out.
HOW DO I CHANGE LIGHT BULBS
there should be 3 bolts 2 on top of the frame when hood is open and one behind the light itself once they are all removed then disconnect both wire connectors and slowly remove headlight i think the bolts are 10mm
you must remove the bolt behind the rear seat and remove the rear seat then you will see 2 small Allen head bolts remove them and the seat will come right off.
its on front of head drivers side of car just under edge of plastic intake remove bolt from it and pull out of head
Remove the Philips screw on each corner of the bumper. Remove the clips that hold the grill and bumper to the radiator support. Pull the bumper forward. Remove the 10mm bolts that mount the head light to the radiator support. Remove the 10mm bolt that mounts the head light to the fender. Remove the 10mm bolt that mounts the head light to a bracket near the bumper beam.
You need to remove the head light, which is rather simple, and reach through the opening from the head light to replace the light bulb for the blinker.
Get a flat head screwdriver and pry it out. Slowly work your way around its circumference, it should pop out after halfway.
