Sounds like "heater core" is shot-any coolant leaks inside the car coming from under the dash?, Have check, replaced. Or could just be an air lock in coolant system, which is better easy fix.
Remove the door panel, remove the lower side of the window channel, remove door lock mechanism. remove the black plastic cover help by 2 screws, then remove the black plastic door lock unit, with the connector on it, and replace. You can pry the unit open and replace the electric motor in it.
I have discovered the same problem for my 93 previa lx. One solution to solve that is when you're driving lock your doors, then when leaving manually open and lock it (w. out using the button). If you turned off your motor and locked your doors w. the switch. The car alarm will go off randomly. I'm not sure this would work. but you can try to ask the dealer to remove the alarm. But using my method above, will keep the van from going off =].
looks like you need to replace the actuator that activate the power locks in inside the door, but before you do that spray some elctric contac cleaner on the elements on the side of the door .
Hi if the outside handle is not operating the internal lock, remove the internal panel from the top edge of door, panel pulls off along edge next to glass, pull back to gain access, use small vise grips and pull cable connected to door lock, door should open. If this is the case small nipple has pulled of the cable end, cure by crimping on new nipple, can be made,
It is easy. Turn the key to the accessory position and depress the retainer pin located about an inch and a quarter from the front of the lock on the bottom.
The shift lock solenoid is located on top of the steering column. You will need to remove the steering column covers, lower dash trim, and the heater duct. Remove the steering column bolts and lower the steering column to access the shift lock solenoid.
If the key dosent work then remove the inside door handle and window adjuster to remove the paneling. Then check to see if the lock rods are connected.
