How do you remove ignition switch in Chevy camaro iroc z28 89 with tilt wheel?

You have to drop the steering column down. There are two bolts holding it up. The switch sits on top of the column. Disconect the two plugs on the side, should be a black one and a blue one, the black has to come out first. There are two nut screws and a philips set screw that holds the switch on. There is also a cable coming out of the back of the switch. After getting it off the column. Push it backand down past the break peddle. There are two very small philips screws on the back of the switch where the cable comes out. Once off there is a small push clip that lets the cable come out. Thats all it takes.
