To remove a drawer from a children's Simmons dresser, start by pulling the drawer out fully. Look for release tabs or levers on the sides of the drawer slides, and press or lift them to release the drawer from the slides. Once released, gently lift the drawer upwards and out to remove it completely from the dresser.

There is also a smaller tab in the drawer near each slot. This tab is bent out and prevents the drawer being lifted off the roller guides. By bending the tabs in slightly, the drawer can be lifted off the guides. Be careful, the drawers are heavy, Once all the drawers are out but one, if you extend the drawer fully, the cabinet may fall over.
There is a small square opening at the bottom center on both the right and left sides of the drawer with a tab that is bent through the drawer wall to the outside of the drawers. This must be bent back until it is fully within the inside of the drawer's storage area. You will need a screwdriver or similar tool to do that. Once that is done open one drawer at a time until fully extended in the open position. The drawers will then lift straight upward, sliding off four tabs located two on each side. It will take some wiggling to get it loose from the four tabs.
