On a 2006 Vauxhall Astra, the diagnostics socket is located below the hand brake lever, under the cover. The Astra has been around since 1979.
The inside panel in the boot of an 07 Vauxhall Astra is removed by first removing the wheel and outer retaining cover. A series of clips and retaining screws must then be removed before the inside panel can be detached.

PCV= Positive Crankcase Ventilation.It will be in the cylinder head cover.
To remove the cylinder head on an Astra 1.7 CDTI, disconnect the battery cable and remove the lower engine cover. Drain the cooling system and remove the oil filter. Remove the air filter hoses and disconnect the crank case breather hose from the valve cover.
To find out which fuse goes to what on a Vauxhall Astra Pate Car look on the fuse box cover. One fuse box is located under the dash and the other one is in the engine compartment.
had the same prob with my 04 astra hsd the rocker cover changed and is now cured
Suggest you obtain a manual for this.There are different valves for hatch/estate,and depend wether ABS or not.It can be a simple adjustment or require a pressure checking rig.Too many variables to cover here.
If you look on the inside of the fuse panel cover there are descriptive pictures and numbers relating to each fuse.
Hi The port is under the handbrake handle- flip the plastic cover off in the hand brake well. hope this helps
