You're meant to use a specially keyed socket.
If you don't have that, tire shops usually have a set of removal Tools.
with the lug wrench!
Remove wheels remove caliper mounting bolts (2) support caliper if "peel" off type they should be free now If not Remove center dust cover Remove cotter pin Remove slotted lock nut Remove lock nut wiggle rotor bearing assembly will fall out remove rotor re-install in reverse order Do not over-tighten lock-nut will cause excessive bearing wear.
When the nuts are tightened pressure between the nut's cone and the conical holes in the wheel rim creates a "frictional lock" that prevents the nuts from coming loose.
remove the axle nut on the opposite side from the rear drive sprocket. no need to remove the bolt from inside of the rim, just the big nut. then get a hammer and hit the inside of the tire not the rim then the whole wheel will come off. then remove the disk brake remove the caliper first then the disk. then remove the 2 nuts from the axle holding the inside nut and loosening the outer nut. then nicely pull the whole shaft out from the sprocket side. no need to remove the wheel for this step. make sure you remove the chain from the sprocket .. have fun..

A lock nut should go on a bolt before a washer or the nut.
A website named bransport.com carries lug nut removers for various size lug nut locks. It uses a reverse thread that tightens on the lug nut as you turn it counter clockwise to remove.
removal of ammo tube also permit removal of bolt . loosen the lock nut and loosen the screw which is locked by the lock nut.

lock has to either opened with a key or picked to open position, then as turning clockwise to lock push up on the back side locking bar and then remove, continue tuning cw to remove lock cylinder. Unbolt the large lock nut and washer on the cylinder case to remove from glove compartment itself. Assemble in reverse order.
there is a retaining nut or clip on the back of the lock that holds it in place. remove the door panel and see what is broke or if the nut has loosened,and fell off. check the bottom of the door. It may be there waiting there to be found. hope it helps. duboff
