Use Whitlam's Glue Wash hand cleaner. It removes all glue products from skin. Available at good Plumbing stores.
It can be rather difficult to remove silicone calk from painted wood. The good news is that the paint will largely prevent the calk from having seeped into the wood itself. The bad news is that it will be tough to remove it without damaging the paint. Peel off as much as of the calk as possible with either a knife or manually. Then take an abrasive green dish pad and hot water to the rest. Alternatively, paint thinner will remove it quickly but will require repainting.

Yes you can. Idid it on my 94 3000 GT,but its not a ez job. First remove the light assembly,remove the spring clips than you have cut that awful calk-glue between the glass and plastic. I used a razor knife to cut and a screwdriver to pry it apart. A solevant helps soften it. Becarful not yo chip the glass or you will have pieces [its temperd] GOOD LUCK!! I used silcon for assembling
