Members of Congress can't be impeached, but they may be removed from office prior to the end of their term as explained in Article I, Section 5, clause 2, of the US Constitution.
"Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two thirds, expel a member."
A Member of Congress may be expelled from the Senate or from the House of Representatives if there is a formal vote on a resolution agreed to by two-thirds of the members of the appropriate body who are present.
Expel? US House of Representatives for your High School?
2/3s vote
It requires a two-thirds vote of that house.
A member of congress can be expelled from that house by a simple majority vote of the full house. Each house is responsible for its own members. Thus, for the US House of Representatives, a majority vote of its members can expel one of their own.ONLY the House in question can expel one of its members. No other means can be used.
Representatives and Delegates serve for two-year terms, while the Resident Commissioner serves for four years. The Constitution permits the House to expel a member with a two-thirds vote.
two thirds vote
A 2/3 Vote Is Needed.
The Speaker has a vote if he/she is a member of the house of representatives BUT ... the speaker of the house does not have to be a member of the house of representatives in order to become speaker so, the speaker has a vote if he/she is a member, but that does not always have to be the case
Yes, but a member of the House of Representatives can be expelled by a two-thirds vote of the House of Representatives; no trial is necessary.

No, the vice president does not serve as a member of the House of Representatives. The vice president's role is to preside over the Senate and to cast a vote in case of a tie. The House of Representatives is a separate legislative body with its own members.
I would hope that what the people want and what is right would be what influenced any member of our government on how to vote on a bill.
