I have had marble floors for 20yrs.I used mop and glow as a quick way to get a shine. I tried to remove it by buffing with no luck. Finally I added a 3rd of a gallon of ammonia to hot water,Let stand for 15 minutes came right up but left a haze.
Use half a cup of Ammonia to one gallon of hot water. Thereafter, use a piece of rag to brush the residue off the floor.
Spray Windex on floor and mop it up with a mop. Or put Spic and Span in mop bucket and mop it up.
No it will smell awful, use pine soil, mop and glow anything but vinegar or bleach both will smell bad.
