Then you have to remove the big plastic bolt that the wiper motor drive goes through. You will also have to remove the plastic panel inside the vans hatch. Good luck - not a tough job and a good way to save a bunch.

The shaft going from the motor to the wiper arm goes right through a bushing and that's where the problem occures. Over time the shaft rust and seize up. All you have to do is to clean the shaft and lubricate it. I hope you have the same problem I had, its a lot cheaper to clean it all up then to buy a new motor.
