First, you take apart the entire engine. Be sure to keep your hands clean and parts scattered in this process. Secondly, the only tool you need to take apart this engine will be a chainsaw. Don't let Home Depot or Lowe's tell you, you need tools for that. They're liars. Thirdly, you take the wheels off of the tractor and gently set them aside. Once you have that done, you can attempt to pull off the steering wheel. Get a good grip on it and pull hard. Last, what is a 96 Geo tractor?
Yes it does. I have a 96 geo tracker and it does have power steering.
You will need to remove the tire and wheel from your 2002 Geo Tracker. Remove the end of the axle. Remove the wheel bearing nut. Remove the wheel seal and the wheel bearing. Reverse the process to install the new wheel bearing.
Removing the steering wheel by hand is hard. A person needs a steering wheel pulled to remove the steering wheel of this car. It applies pressure to the middle of the steering wheel and pulls up on the rest of it.?æ
pull the lever toward the steering wheel
a lever is located on the left side of the column close to the dash

Between the dash and the hampsters wheel
Hi, Acording to the book I have, if you have a reset switch, it should be mounted under the left-hand side of the instrument panel. The way the picture looks, it should be right near the steering wheel. Yiu need to remove the panel under the steering wheel to get at it easily, that should be just a few screws. Good luck. Steve H.
go to a wrecker and find a truck with a power steering setup, there are a few out there.
