To remove sticky residue from leather, take plain dish soap and a wet rag. Add a dab of the soap to the rag and scrub away the residue.
You can remove sticky label residue with simple cooking oil, a soft cloth and a little rubbing.
The best way to remove a sticky residue from plastic is to use a gentle emulsifier. A gentile antibacterial soap and a soft bristle brush can normally get rid of a sticky residue.

If sticky label remove the top part then go over the sticky residue left with either selloptape or masking tape.
Try to remove as much of the sticky substance as possible by hand if possible. We used a ladder to get to ours (a toy eyeball) and a spatula. Left in the spot was a bit of residue. I was able to remove the remaining stickiness with a white towel and dish soap.
WD-40 works well removing the sticky residue.
One way to remove sticky residue from new craft beads is by soaking them in rubbing alcohol and scrubbing them. Another way is by rolling the beads gently in your fingers to ball up the residue, if it is significant.
If your imitation leather couch has become sticky, you can clean it to remove the tackiness. Simply wipe the tacky area down with baby wipes and allow to air dry.

Try Goo Gone first, it's quite benign and will often move glue and leave no marks on fabrics and leather. Goof Off is stronger and will remove more sticky glues, but may leave a mark. Test it first on a piece that's not normally visible.
