You don't remove the plenum to change spark plugs. There is no distributor, so there won't be traditional plug wire. Each plug has it's own coil (approx 2x4 inch black boxes), spaces along the top rear of the plenum. Disconnect the wiring harness from each one, then use an 8mm socket to remove the 2 bolts from each coil. Pull the coil out, and you will have access to the spark plug.

It could be located underneath the intake plenum on the top of the engine, follow the large red wire. If it is, hold on its about a 8 hour job.
It's on the left side of the intake plenum looking at the cars front. It's screwed sideways on the left side of the intake plenum with a hose coming right off of it. It's not visible unless you remove the upper and lower plenum.
Starter is located on top of bellhousing, need to remove intake plenum.

on a 2001, with the 3.3, the knock sensor is under the water crossover pipes, which are under the intake manifold. Pain to change. Take off plenum, intake manifold and there it is, on top of the block between the heads.

On fuel rail under intake plenum almost in center of engine if you reach behind plenum you can feel the vacuum hose going to it
