Simple. Install any version of AVG (free or otherwise). You will have the option of installing the AVG toolbar the next time you launch Firefox (if it's your default browser).
unfortunately avg 2011 does not support safari 5 maybe the next upgrade of avg will support it.
Yes it does, as i was using firefox without the toolbar the other day and AVG bloacked the attack. AVG's Resident Shield is a powerfull tool that always monitors your computer for malicious content, if it recognizes anything, no matter what browser, it will notify you.

Go to Start...Control Panel...Add or remove programs....Find "Google toolbar" ....click remove or change/remove (whichever you see)
AVG 2014 can remove sality, I have removed it using AVG, it takes time to delete this virus, but it does remove it completely. you may have to compromise with setup files of your softwares.
There should be an 'X' on the left of the toolbar, click that then close your internet page or current page. Go on 'My Computer', click 'Add or remove programs' on the left. Scroll down and find the Bing toolbar and click remove, then it's fully removed off your computer.
