You reset the check engine light with an OBD2 scan tool. But first you must repair the problem that caused it to come on. If not it will just come back on again. There is a problem that is effecting emissions.

i have a 2007 carolla that has been fully services and the check engine light is still on. there is nothing wrong with it.. How do I get it off?
If the VSC flashing light comes on at the same time on your Toyota Corolla, then there might be a sensor issue, and if you have a warranty, have it back to the manufacturer.
Try unhooking your battery cables for a few minutes. That usually works for me.
I did not tighten the gas cap good....Sounds crazy but i have that several times...
You have to support the engine while part of the cradle is removed. Toyota Corolla is the same car; also check for information on an equivalent model/year
check this out for the details http://www.usedcarexpert.co.uk/stats/Toyota/Corolla/1997-2000
The easiest way to reset the 2001 Toyota check engine light is to remove the check engine light fuse. The fuse can be found in the fuse box.
how cheak the chassis number of "corolla altis"
No, but check with a Toyota dealer to make sure.
To test the igniter on a 1994 Toyota Corolla remove the ignitor for the distributor. Using an ohmmeter check to see if it reads the proper voltage. If there is to little replace the unit.
