Close the radio door and take off the shift knob.
There are 8 clips holding the center console in the S2000. I usually start with the rear of the console where you rest your elbows. use your hands instead of a screw driver to prevent scratching the plastic or leather.
Tuck your fingers under one of the back corners and gently pry up. You will hear a "snap!". It's normal. Work your way to the front.
As soon as your console is loose, look under and disconnect the plugs for the hazards, roof, and/or defrost.
Pull the parking brake handle higher to allow for room to wiggle the console out. Lift the back of the console and wiggle it out. Done.
