Removing the doors to TJ model Jeeps on requires removing the 2 nuts under the door hinges on each side. These nuts are lock nuts so it takes a little effort. Once the nuts have been removed the doors should slide up and off. If you have never removed the doors before it is a good idea to spray a lubricant on the hinges first to allow easier removal. Remove the limiting straps from the inner holder under dash, with windows down gently push up on door while swinging it in and out. Careful as the doors are heavy. At this point your interior lights will stay on unless you have adapters that hold them in. Another way is to remove glove box and pull fuse #10, that controls interior light only.
to remove the doors you un-bolt the door then you lift the door up and off of the hinge.
