AnswerSame thing happened to me. I have a 2002 lancer OZ and half of my guage cluster went out. Seems there is bad wiring all throughout this particular year model and what i had to do is remove the entire dash kit assembly and re-wire the light harness and replace the bulbs. this will ensure that it never happens again. Alot of work for such a small problem but at least it's inexpensive to fix and i can see how fast im going now. Lol. Hope this helps you! I'm not sure about 2002, but in my 2008 GTS there is a fuse for interior lighting which also affects my instrument cluster. The fuse is located in a fuse panel below the steering wheel. It is fuse #9, 15 amp size.
