Pull the 4 nuts that hold the u-bolts to the differential then slide the differential slightly forward on the spline to remove the U-Joint from the differential. You may need to pry it out. If it's a 2 piece drive shaft with a center "carrier" bearing, remove the 2 bolts of the carrier bearing, then slide the splined shaft out of the transmission. It might be a good idea to have a pan or oil absorbent material available to catch the oil that will drip from the transmission tailshaft. What can I do to make a 16 inch wheel fit a chevy truck 2005 hittn brake bracket
Yes, From 88 to early month of 99 will interchange.
It is highly unlikely since the body style, including the windshields, changed in 1988.
twist it off
speaking based on both of the 88's that i have had they are 25 gallon tanks but that also depend on the truck cause one of them was an 88 cheyenne and the other and current one is an 88 silverado and they have both had 25 gallon tanks speaking based on both of the 88's that i have had they are 25 gallon tanks but that also depend on the truck cause one of them was an 88 cheyenne and the other and current one is an 88 silverado and they have both had 25 gallon tanks
The radiator support is the same. But if it depends if you are going late model, or early model. Late model you'll need different markers and turn signals as well as a different valance and a center bracket.Early model or flat 88-93. The only concern is whether or not the headlights are either single as most late/cheyennes or double single, or composite(silverado)then you would have to change the light bracket.
