you need to either buy a superchip or get your car reprogramed without the speed limiter.. you cant just take it out. its connected to the CPU of your car. if you don't have that chip, your car wont run, just go buy a chip.

Are you talking about when it blinks at 85 mph? It actually is still accelerating, it only blinks because the speedometer only goes up to 85. It's not a governor, it's the speedometer.
Well I had the same problem as you, I got a turbo installed in my car and it kept topping out at 120. I thought that was a waste of a turbo so I got my chip out. The way you do this is to get it replaced with a new chip that does not stop you from sppeding till your engine breaks.
