Pull out the knob as if you were turning on the headlights. Reach under the dash to the side of the switch opposite the wiring harness connection and locate the release button for the knob and shaft, depress and pull out the shaft. Then you can take a wide blade screwdriver to remove the nut that holds the switch in place.
It is in the fuse box which is bolted to the headlight switch. You need to remove the headlight switch ti access it.
Disconnect negative battery post, remove the steering wheel, remove the signal switch lever, remove 3 screws holding switch in place, disconnect harness connection under dash, remove switch while guiding harness threw column.

That's a pretty cool operation, turn key to accessory, insert the end of a paper clip into the hole in the front of the switch , push key inward, turn key counter clock wise and pull the cylinder out, then you can remove the bezel.
