the heater core is up under the dash on the riget side.
What is needed when the ccr is driver information center
follow the plug from the blower motor. It should lead to another plug on top of your heater core housing.There should be three bolts securing the plug. Remove them and replace the part. I don't know what it is called.My 1988 eldorado did the same thing. Works fine now though.

you get a pin and push the little hole near the bottom of the right hand side proceed with change the time, date, etc...
Drain the water from the cooling system. Remove the water hose from the heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
