does anyone know where the horn relay switch is on a 86 chevy S10?
Look for a?æbox located in the glove compartment marked "relays" of the 1997 Chevy S10. The horn relay is the first one on the left.
Open up the glove compartment and take out all the junk in there. Notice a small access door marked "relays". Remove that door. The horn relay will be the second one from the left.
Inproper polarity on horn wires. or horn relay bad. Ensure voltage (12VDC) on horn wire when activating horn. If nothing... suspect relay.
The easiest two ways are to either remove the fuse, or remove the relay. If the horn is stuck blowing then the relay is probably bad.
you can remove the horn relay in the fuse box.
Fuel pump relay, horn relay, daytime running lights relay and if there is a fourth, power door lock relay.
Answer"Fuse/relay center under the hood" I don't know about 95's, but in the 96 it's in the glove box.Yes, the 95's have the horn relay in the glove box. It's the second relay from the left.
It is located in the convenience center.
Open up the glove compartment and take out all the junk in there. You will see a door marked "relays". Remove that door and you will see 3 or 4 relays in there. One is the fuel pump relay, another is the horn relay, another is the relay for the daytime driving lights and if you have a fourth one it is for the power door locks. Which order they are I don't know. You will have to use the process of elimination to find out which one is for the horn.
The horn relay, the daytime running lights relay and if the vehicle has power door locks, the relay for that too.
fuse or relay, horn is on drivers side, have to remove headlight to get to it!!
