Tilt steering column down to lowest position. remove instrument cluster center bezel (around radio and environmental controls) by disengaging 4 clips (2 on top and one on each side).
2. Remove 4 instrument cluster hood mounting screws. Three screws are located behind the center bezel and one screw is located at the left end of the hood. Pull on hood to disengage hood and remove instrument cluster hood. Pull instrument cluster rearward to disengage 8 clips and disconnect wiring connectors from panel. Remove instrument cluster.

Position the parking brake release aside and remove the lower steering column cover. Remove the retaining bolts and remove the lower steering column reinforcement. You will need to remove the instrument cluster board. To do that, remove the trim piece around the instrument cluster, then carefully pull the instrument cluster out of the dashboard. Note that the instrument cluster plugs in to a socket in the dashboard, so be careful as you remove the circuit board so that you do not damage the plug. Once the instrument cluster is out, replace all bulbs. They twist to remove, and if the odometer bulb has failed, the others are getting old too. It might be best to replace them all to avoid future problems.
