There is a spring clip on the back of the handle that you have to get off before the handle will pull off, go to the parts store and get the special window crank removal tool to get it off.

The replacement exterior door handle typically comes with a new rubber/plastic seal and a new lock cylinder retaining clip.First, remove the 6 screws holding the interior molding to the door (x2 screws at the hinge, x2 screws at the jam end, x1 screw holding the molding at the interior door handle, x1 screw under a plastic cover in the door well (place to grab when closing door)). Remove the retaining clip from the window handle (if present) and remove the handle.Gently remove the interior door molding that's held in place by plastic clips. Roll up the window the whole way.
