I have a 2001 reg 2.9 Diesel Sedona and I have changed my fuel filter a couple of hours ago. The job took me no more than 20 minutes in total. The main fuel filter is situated on the left side of the engine as you view it from the front of the car. Easy to identify as it is a cylinder with 3 pipes attached to the top of it To remove it you need to undo two bolts holding the top of the bracket then one small bolt on the side of the bracket. (do not fully remove small bolt, just enough to slide filter out of bracket) The three top pipes are removed by pushing the button on the pipe connectors and lifting off. there is an electrical cable attached to the bottom of the filter, simply unscrew (you will spill some fuel doing this) fit new filter by doing all the above in reverse. When new filter is fitted you must refill the filter with fuel by using the small hand pump (small rubber bulb attached to filter bracket) squeeze until it seems quite hard to squeeze any more. Job Done!
