In this model there will be a flap either on the end or in the front. Push this flap up and the mirror will push out.
To install a sun visor on the driver's side of a 2000 Buick Grand Sport pry the plastic cover off with a flat head screwdriver. Place new visor and put the screws back in by hand.
Use a "torx" head screwdriver.

first pull down visor. on the ends closest to the door take a small flat head screwdriver and pop off the cover. then all you should have to do is unscrew it with a Phillips screwdriver.

If you're talking about the whole assembly, then you have to remove the inner door panel - there are nuts that hold it on (studs are on the mirror assembly). If you're just talking about the mirror head, then you have to take off the mirror glass - there's a clip that holds the head onto the arm.
