Turn it counter clockwise. Although, Judging by your question I'm assuming that your cap is broken and only the base of it is there with no grip to grab on. If this is the case you need to remove and install it (screw and unscrew) with a pair of pliers until you visit the dealership for a new one. (I've had to do this myself. Here's a tip for not breaking the new one: let it cool off for a few minutes before unscrewing it).
