Remove oil pan for access
there are about 12 10mm bolts that hold the oil pan in place. remove them and the pan will drop right down.
lift the car up with a jack in the front and its right behind the motor
If you have clearance just remove bolts

You will need to drain the oil from your 1988 Toyota Pickup truck oil pan. Remove the oil pan by removing the oil pan retaining bolts. Scrape the old oil pan gasket off. Clean the oil pan gasket surface. Put the new oil pan gasket on and reverse the process.
Simply remove transmission oil pan and it's right there all you have to do is remove and replace.
Remove transmission oil pan to access filter
Drain oil, remove oil pan bolts (lots of them), take pan off. When reinstalling, don't use cork gaskets, they tend to degrade much faster and you will be right back under there.
You have to remove the timing belt and the engine pan. Only then you will be able to remove the pump.

Drain the oil from your oil pan. Remove the oil pan bolts. There are 24 oil pan bolts. The oil pan will come off.
