Although I am sure there are shade tree ways to do this, the only right way is to use a pulley remover. This tool has a set of collars that fit over the groove in the pulley. Once that collar is in place a jack screw threads into a body that sits in the collars with the pulley. At that time you simply screw in the jack screw and the pulley comes off very easily.
K-D Tools has a nice kit, part # K-D 2897 but it is pricey. (That is what I use in my shop)
