I am haveing this problem too. I have got soo close but then...well first off the cover over the satnav can simply pull off. then there are 2 screws underneath there that you take out. then you need to lift off the cover of the transmission shifter. it should just pull off with a bit of effort cause it has those clips that when you push them in it spreds out a bit but it is pretty to get off. then you can remove your sat nav screen. unplug it to get it out of the way. there are 2 screws right at the back where the sat nav was sitting take them out. now this is where i get stuck. you need to pull pretty hard where the spare hole is just under the player. now the whole face bit comes out air vents buttons HVAC dials everything the whole centre bit is supposed to come out. there are 2 of those clips either side of the hole under the player, and 2 up near the vents, if you aim the vents down you can get a bit of a grip and pull the top 2 out. But i can only pull the left one out down the buttom the right one is well and truly stuck I have tried pinching the clip fromthe back and someone else pulling but it still doesnt come out. I will probably take it to dealer or car stero specialist to see if they can do it.
go to www.carstereohelp.com. for 5 dollars they give you detailed instructions with pictures. i installed a kenwood CD player in about a half hour using the directions.

My car 2007 is a four cylinder Hyundai sonata Is there any truth to what the service manager said about having to remove the manifold to change the spark plugs?
My son has been trying to remove my 6-cylinder Hyundai Sonata for 4 hours. He just got it - you have to pull the motor mount and jack the engine. OR take it to your local mechanic and save yourself the hassle.
