How do you remove the rear seat bottom of a Ford Taurus - Mercury Sable?

There are 2 clips about 12 inches in from each side - the trick is to push down real hard on the front of the seat while at the same time pushing/pulling the front of the seat forward (towards the front of the car).
Do one side at a time.
Once the front of the seat bottom is free, just tilt it up and towards the front.
Lay down and force the bottom of the seat backwards and slightly upwards with your arms or shoulders to force the seat from the retainers on two sides. When the front comes up - you can remove the seat.
Get in to the back of the car and push very hard on the seat cushion towards the trunk. While you are pushing hard, lift up on it and the cushion should pop out. From there, there will be two bolts holding the rear part of the seat in.
