On the 2003 model, there are three 10mm nuts accessible when the hatch is open. The one in the center is under the black plastic plug. Once you remove these three nuts, the spoiler will lift partially off. You have to disconnect the center brake light by twisting it and pulling it out. You also have to disconnect the rear washer hose. If you are removing it to repair the way it binds against the roof, please let me know how you plan to fix it.
