You have to remove the door panel, that part which you are asking about attached to the panle with four screws from inside. When you are about to remove the panel tray no to drop it down hold it. You have to disconnect wire harness from the panel in that wat it's easier to remove the buttons thing.
It is on the passenger side beneath the rocker panel.
