Along with the manufacturer supplied jack and tire wrench, there should be one or two rods for the purpose of lowering the spare tire from under the truck bed. Take the rods and wrench to the rear of the vehicle. There should be a hole in the bumper at the top left side of the license plate indentation (the plate may hide it). Through the hole should be a square socket that the rod/s will fit into. Using the wrench, turn the socket counterclockwise to lower the tire and clockwise to raise it. Lower the tire to the ground and remove the hanger to pull out the tire. To rehang the spare or flat tire, reverse the procedure.
