No. You can remove the entire column with the steering wheel still attached.
2003 ford expodition steering wheel is hard to turn.
To remove the steering wheel from a Renault Clio one must first remove all screws from the back side of the steering column. Once all the screws are removed the steering wheel should be able to be wiggled free.
On the GM cars I've worked on, you have to remove the steering wheel. There is a vertical retaining bold/pin that has to be remove to allow the tumbler/key lock cylindar. Remove the wheel. Remove the retaining pin. Then remove the tumbler. Reverse the above to install the new one. Hope that helps.
i think this one is simple if you dont have a puller for the job you should not be trying very dumb since the old cars are the easiest to work on once you take the horn ring off and the big nut off the shaft you'll need a wheel puller to pull the wheel off.
I'm not sure but I think you are going to have to pull of the steering wheel to get these off. That means removing the horn button and the airbag first.
In my 02 Aztek, I turn the headlight knob (on the dash left of the steering wheel, above your left knee) clockwise to get the interior lights to come on.

if using a tow Dolley turn key on steering wheel will be unlocked
Remove the tire and wheel from your 2003 Kia. Remove the axle end. Remove the wheel bearing retaining nut. Remove the wheel bearing and the wheel seal. Reverse the process to install the new wheel bearings.
