a really long extension works really good if you took the transfer case off allready.
you first remove the engine mounting brackets, then you place a jack under the transmission and remove the cross member bolts that hold the transmission up. after the bolts are removed you can lower the transmission down which will tilt the motor back allowing access to the top 2 bolts from the back side
