This thing is held down by big clips and rivets so you really have to pull out hard on the sides. You will hear a snap, worry, but don't, you have to break these clips on each side then lift up. There are 2 more clips on the top but lift this baby all the way up and you will have access to the whole window. Can be done, but It will be hard to replace these clips, but you can put the top back down any number of ways so it will stay and your ride will look good. The best thing no one will know
