Basically the vinyl top is a shell that is held on by several clips and the decorative metal strip going across the roof where the vinyl top starts. It takes patients and a lot of care not to damage the car. Start on the sides ant the back window by prying the edges loose, You will feel where the the clips are. Most will pop out very easy. The biggest problem is getting the metal cross strip off (the one that goes across the roof)
